Domain Transfer Instructions

Keep in mind that iMatrix will manage your domain for free! This is included with your service. If you have the login information to access your domain then please do not hesitate to call and provide this to iMatrix and we can initiate the domain transfer process for you. Important - Please Note: Do you have domain name based email?

A domain name based email is an email address that ends in your domain or website address. For example if your domain name is imatrix.com then a domain name based email could be [email protected] or [email protected] If you have domain name based email please make sure to back up your email before transferring it to iMatrix. Otherwise you run the risk of losing your past emails. If you do not have domain name based emails then there is no need to back up your email.

Please follow the steps below to transfer your domain name (e.g. website address) from one GoDaddy account to iMatrix GoDaddy account.

  1. Contact your current website designer or host.
  2. Let them know you would like transfer the domain name from their GoDaddy account to iMatrix's GoDaddy account.
  3. To do this, provide our GoDaddy account information:
  4. GoDaddy account Number: 2229115
    Email associated with account: [email protected]

  5. Once the domain transfer has been initiated, please email us at [email protected] and let us know.
  6. Please keep in mind, a GoDaddy to GoDaddy transfer can take up to 1-3 business days to complete.

  7. Once the domain transfer is complete we will follow up with you and get your approval to set the website live!

Please follow the steps below for gaining access to your domain name (e.g. website address) and transferring to iMatrix.

If you have access to your account, you can obtain the EPP Code by following these instructions otherwise follow the instructions below:

  1. Contact 1&1 by calling 1-866-991-2631 or visiting their contact page here.
  2. Let them know you would like to transfer your domain name but do not cancel your website services yet.
  3. We advise continuing to pay for your current service until your iMatrix website goes live. Once your iMatrix website goes live then cancel services with your past host. This will keep your current website live until your new iMatrix website is ready.

  4. They must unlock the domain name and remove any privacy settings.
  5. They will provide you with an EPP/authorization transfer code. This code looks like a string of letters, numbers and/or special characters. Please email us at [email protected] with this code so we can begin the transfer.
  6. Please keep in mind that domain transfers can take anywhere from 5-7 days. It is best to start this process as soon as possible to avoid any delays in setting your new website live when it is ready.

  7. Once the domain transfer is complete we will follow up with you and get your approval to set the website live!

Please follow the steps below to transfer your domain name (e.g. website address) from Eyefinity to iMatrix.

  1. Contact EyeFinity at (877) 448-0707 to cancel your current web service ($50 fee required).
  2. Once the $50 fee is paid, they need to transfer the domain from their GoDaddy account into iMatrix's GoDaddy Account.
  3. To do this, provide Eyefinity with iMatrix's GoDaddy account information:

  5. Once the domain transfer has been initiated, please email us at [email protected] and let us know.
  6. Please keep in mind, a GoDaddy to GoDaddy transfer can take up to 1-3 business days to complete.

  7. Once the domain transfer is complete we will follow up with you and get your approval to set the website live!

  3. Please keep in mind that domain transfers can take anywhere from 5-7 days. It is best to start this process as soon as possible to avoid any delays in setting your new website live when it is ready.

  4. Once the domain transfer is complete we will follow up with you and get your approval to set the website live!


If you do not have access to your account

  1. Contact Network Solutions by calling 888-642-9675.
  2. Let them know you would like to transfer your domain name but do not cancel your website services yet.
  3. We advise continuing to pay for your current service until your iMatrix website goes live. Once your iMatrix website goes live then cancel services with your past host. This will keep your current website live until your new iMatrix website is ready.
